I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and attended East Carolina University in
Greenville, North Carolina. After gradudating with a degree in accounting, I began working
in industry, while I obtained my license as a certified public accountant. With a love of tax,
I decided to leave industry and go into public accounting, and I have been here ever since. I
love working with clients to help them understand their taxes and the accounting side of their
business. There is nothing like watching the excitement on their face when they understand a
balance sheet and/or profit and loss.
